It is a collection of Tai proverbs in their original written form, their transliteration in a lingua franca of the region, in this case Thai language, and their translation in Western languages, in particular in French and in English.
For the record, let us indicate that Tai refers to the main ethnic group living in Thailand, while Tai designates ethnic groups related to Thai (Siamese) living inside and outside Thailand, among them :
